Sunshine Reiki Healing

Sunshine Reiki Healing is run by Reiki Master/Teacher Elizabeth Candlish and is primarily located in her Sechelt home in a peaceful neighbourhood with a Healing and Meditation Room specifically set aside for this purpose. In February of 2010, Elizabeth will also be providing Reiki Healing Treatments each Thursday at the Gibsons Wellness Centre (www.gibsonshealthandwellness.com). Sunshine Reiki Healing provides a relaxing, calm environment for clients to receive healing and self healing of the body, mind and spirit - also offering a contemplative environment for students to learn Reiki.

Elizabeth is always open to learning new techniques and improving her skills as a Reiki Master, making every Reiki Healing treatment a unique and powerful experience for both client and practitioner. In 2007, Elizabeth also became a qualified Chartered Herbalist and now makes her own organic Tinctures and Remedies. Widening the scope of her holistic practices in 2008, she has added a Healing with Crystals service as a supplementary treatment for her clients and holds Healing with Crystals Workshops for interested students of this ancient practice.

Willima Lee Rand - Seattle Also in 2008, Elizabeth attended a workshop in Seattle to receive Advanced Reiki training and attunement - also reinforcing her Reiki Master/Teacher Level and attunement directly from William Lee Rand - one of the foremost practitioners of Reiki Healing in North America.

How Reiki Came into my Life...

I was given a gift certificate for a "Facial and Hot Rock Massage" quite a few years ago. I went for the spa treatment and during the massage I felt something different was happening. Tingling, waves of peace flowing through my body. When the treatment was over and I had dressed, I asked the Receptionist what the practitioner had been doing during the massage and I was told "Reiki". I had never heard of this before but knew that it was something I wanted to do. I felt as if a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders when I left the spa and felt so relaxed it was just a wonderful feeling. My thoughts were that if Reiki can do this for me, what could it do for other people. I would love to be able to do that for other people.

This is how my journey with Reiki started. Reiki had found me.

From that day on I looked for a Reiki Master and within two months had taken my Reiki Level One, four months later I took my Reiki Level Two and went on to take my Reiki Master/Teacher level a couple of years later. Since then numerous students and clients have been led to me - through word of mouth, or my website.

Reiki has played a very important part in my life, especially as within a couple of years of learning Reiki I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Reiki helped me through that health challenge and I am now 6 years cancer free. I practice Reiki every day on myself and find that it has really helped and has made subtle changes in my life - all for the good.
